What the site is
A directory of health, wellness and longevity businesses in Australia. Listings record what each business publishes on its own website and in public map listings: services, prices, opening hours, contact details and practitioner names. Each listing shows the date its information was last checked and the pages it was taken from.
- The site does not give medical advice. See the medical disclaimer.
- It does not recommend, rank or rate businesses or practitioners. It does not publish reviews, ratings or testimonials.
- It does not book appointments, sell services or take payments.
- No business pays to be listed or for its position in results. Results are ordered by the sort you choose, such as name, distance or date last checked.
How listings are compiled
Businesses are found through public map listings. Their websites are then read by software, and services, prices, hours and contact details are extracted automatically. Not every fact is checked by a person.
Business descriptions use the business’s own wording, edited to remove claims that Australian advertising law does not permit. Testimonials, client quotes and star ratings are removed. The descriptions have not been verified.
Prices
Prices are the figures a business published on its website on the date shown. They are not quotes or offers from us or the business. They may exclude consultation and other fees and may have changed. Confirm the price with the business before you book. Medicare rebates apply only where a Medicare item and its criteria are met.
Accuracy and corrections
Listings can be wrong or out of date. Confirm details with the business before you rely on them. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or current.
To report an error, use the suggest an update form, also linked from each listing. Each request is read by a person and checked against the business’s website before a listing changes. Nothing submitted through the form is published directly.
A business, or a practitioner named in a listing, can ask for a listing or a name to be removed through the same form (choose “Something else”) or by email to [General contact email, to confirm].
Links to other websites
Listings link to business websites, booking pages, map directions and the Ahpra register. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, prices, services or privacy practices. Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap.
Acceptable use
When you use the site, do not:
- submit false, misleading or abusive information through the correction form or by email
- try to access admin areas or interfere with the site’s operation or security
- copy listings or data in bulk, by automated means or otherwise, without our written permission
Search engines may index public pages as allowed by the site’s robots.txt file.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, data compilation and price summaries belong to [Legal entity name, to confirm]. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Business names, logos and the wording quoted from business websites remain the property of those businesses.
Liability
The site is provided free of charge and as it stands. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from relying on a listing, or from dealing with a business or practitioner found through it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded.
